Zak Parlby Quartet

The Zak Parlby Quartet was founded in December 2023. Since then, Zak and his band have been working on a new set of original compositional works that follows the immediate progression of Zak’s artistry in both the saxophone and composition after graduating from Leeds Conservatoire in July 2024. A lot of Zak’s original music that, like his sound, draws influence from saxophone greats like Coltrane and Bergonzi. The group’s debut album, The Big Picture, is out on streaming services and CD with more releases planned in the future.
