About

A skilled and expressive bassist from the North East of the UK, Dan has built a strong reputation as a versatile and in-demand performer. Equally at home on electric and double bass, he brings a deep musicality, sharp improvisational instincts, and rock-solid groove to every setting. With a strong foundation in jazz and pop styles, his playing is rooted in tradition but never limited by it—effortlessly blending genres with clarity and creativity.

An accomplished sight-reader and adaptable musician, Dan has worked across a wide range of musical contexts, from studio sessions and live gigs to theatre pits and jazz ensembles. His ability to move fluidly between styles makes him a valuable asset on any stage or recording.
